Welcome to United Dance, Derby

3 students in blue tutus with fans
Based
in Alvaston, Derby, United Dance is a friendly, professional dance school offering lessons in ballet, tap, modern and jazz to all ages of the community.

We aim to create an environment where students, whatever their age, can grow in confidence feeling comfortable and assured that they are being guided by a fully qualified teacher who loves teaching dance and is passionate about the subjects that they teach.

Students develop self-confidence, poise, co-ordination and musicality in a fun, creative yet highly professional environment. All students are treated as individuals whether they want to learn dance for fun, to gain confidence or towards a possible future career in dance and we will tailor each student’s training to their needs. Whilst treating all students as individuals we also believe in giving everyone the same opportunities and welcome those of all abilities and with all levels of experience into the school.

Students can begin their training from two and a half in our pre-school classes and have the opportunity to progress all the way through to advanced level classes.  All classes are held within a 5 minute walk of the Alvaston District Centre in Derby.

For more details about the school feel free to take a look round our website. If you have any questions or would like to book a free trial you can contact us at any time. Whatever your query we endeavour to offer a quick and helpful reply.

No matter what age you are it's never too late to learn to dance with United Dance.

A Parent's Point Of View

"Since my daughter joined United Dance I have watched her self esteem and confidence grow and develop, to the point of recently dancing 2 solo's, both chosen and choreographed by herself. An amazing achievement. This has been made possible by the unique and inclusive teaching methods used by United Dance. I would recommend this school to other people who are looking to enter into the world of dance. I look forward to watching the school progress" (LS)
